About Silas
My interest in economics developed during my Master’s Degree in Economics, where I studied how financial systems and markets operate in real-world conditions. I was always interested in understanding how decisions at different levels affect society and individuals. Over the past 7 years, I have worked with many students, helping them understand economic concepts clearly and build confidence through structured and supportive teaching.
I believe that economics should feel practical and understandable when it is taught properly. My teaching approach focuses on explaining concepts in simple language and connecting them with real-life examples so students can relate easily. I also take time to understand each student’s learning pace and adjust my teaching style accordingly. This helps students feel comfortable and confident in learning.
Outside of teaching, I continue reading about economic trends and improving my teaching methods. This helps me provide updated and meaningful lessons. Teaching economics is very fulfilling to me because I enjoy helping students understand the world better, develop critical thinking, and build confidence in their ability to analyze and explain important concepts clearly and effectively.

Economics becomes easier when students understand how concepts connect to real-life decisions instead of memorizing definitions without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on building strong conceptual understanding through simple and structured explanations. We begin with basic ideas such as demand, supply, and market behavior. I use everyday examples so students can clearly see how economic principles affect daily life. This helps them build confidence and understand the subject in a meaningful way from the beginning.
As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics such as macroeconomics, inflation, national income, and financial systems. I guide students step by step so they understand both theory and its real-world application. Each lesson includes discussion, problem-solving, and explanation sessions to improve understanding. I also help students develop structured approaches to answer writing and exam preparation.
Economics lessons also help students develop analytical thinking, decision-making skills, and awareness of global and local systems. They learn how to evaluate situations and understand outcomes logically. Over time, students become more confident and independent learners. My goal is to make economics clear, practical, and engaging while helping students build strong understanding and long-term confidence in their thinking ability.
