About Aahana
I hold a B.A in Economic Theory and have 9 years of experience helping students make sense of the dynamic, ever-shifting world of economics. My interest in the subject grew from a desire to understand why people make the choices they do and how those decisions ripple through communities, markets, and global systems. Over time, I’ve developed a passion for teaching economics as a practical, living subject—one that influences everyday experiences, personal goals, and long-term planning. I love helping students discover that economics is not just numbers and graphs, but a powerful lens through which to understand human behavior. My teaching style is approachable, analytical, and grounded in real-life relevance. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions, and exploring new ideas. Whether learners are preparing for exams, strengthening foundational understanding, or trying to make sense of current events, I guide them step by step with clarity, patience, and thoughtful examples. I believe that when students see how economics connects to daily life, they gain both confidence and curiosity, making learning much more enjoyable and impactful. Outside of teaching, I stay engaged with economic research, policy analysis, and ongoing global trends. I regularly read economic reports, follow market developments, and analyze case studies to keep my lessons fresh, current, and deeply connected to the world students live in. These experiences enrich my teaching and allow me to bring a wider perspective into the classroom. My mission is always the same: to empower students with understanding, inspire analytical thinking, and help them build a strong foundation that supports both academic success and real-world awareness.

Economics lessons begin by breaking down the fundamental principles that shape how individuals, firms, and governments make decisions. Students learn key concepts such as scarcity, opportunity cost, incentives, supply and demand, and market equilibrium. Each session introduces ideas in a clear, relatable way, using real-world examples from everyday life—shopping choices, transportation decisions, pricing trends—to help learners immediately connect theory to experience. This approach ensures that economics feels intuitive rather than abstract, allowing students to build strong comprehension early on.
As lessons deepen, we explore how markets behave under different conditions, how policy decisions influence economic outcomes, and how global systems interact in increasingly interconnected ways. Students examine case studies, interpret graphs, compare competing theories, and analyze how various factors—technology, consumer confidence, production costs, and government regulations—shape economic stability and growth. Through guided exercises, learners practice critical evaluation, data interpretation, and structured reasoning, strengthening their ability to understand economic arguments and form their own informed perspectives.
The final stage of the lesson experience focuses on applying economic thinking to real-world problems. Students evaluate scenarios, propose solutions, predict outcomes, and explore how trade-offs affect long-term impact. We discuss topics such as environmental policy, global trade, labor markets, and personal finance, helping learners understand how economics influences nearly every aspect of modern life. By the end of the course, students gain not only academic knowledge but the ability to think clearly about incentives, decisions, and the systems around them—skills that are valuable far beyond the classroom.
