About Lana
Completing my PhD in Statistics at the University of Otago informs how I interpret complex economic data for my students. I have taught 361 students over 13 years, helping them navigate the nuances of international trade and cost-benefit analysis.
My focus remains on rigorous essay structure and data response technique, which are vital for success in higher-level exams. I find that market failure and economic development are often misunderstood because students overlook the underlying mechanics of these systems. While I am technically focused, I genuinely enjoy seeing that moment of realization when a student finally grasps a difficult economic model.
