About Jack
I am a graduate of Edinburgh University, I studied Chinese MA Hons with a special interest in Chinese foreign affairs and domestic security issues. I am fluent in both Chinese and German. I have taught English to over 30 students in China and Germany over a two year period. I went to City of London School for Boys in London where I achieved 9A*s and 1 A at GCSE and A*AB at A level. During my time at CLSB I tutored 14 young students with English Maths and Science in order to help them pass the 11+ and 13+.

My teaching method is all based around finding the obscured and hidden intricacies of a certain topic that oftentimes prove to be the key to mastering a vocabulary et or turn of phrase. I believe strongly that creativity and narrative play a significant role in our ability to master a language. The mental exercise of creating a story and purpose to your language learning is fundamental to my teaching technique.
