About Courtney
I am a certified TESOL teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New England. My major is Linguistics and I have a minor in Japanese as well. I have experience in teaching conversational English and have taught group classes and one-to-one tutoring. I offer conversation classes, academic English, and English homework tutoring. My classes are conducted online through Zoom with the use of Google Docs.

The student is the focus. Each student will have individual lesson plans tailored to their style of learning and preference. Amalgamating this with practical skill development ensures the student has the best outcome from the lessons. Therefore, the classes are usually practical; learn a skill then practice the skill. I teach a concept then provide a space for students to practice using the new concept and guide them to use it in creative ways, unique to the student.
