About Keryann
I first completed the English as a foreign language (EFL) program at Barbados Community College being full immersed in the culture. I then pursued an English-Spanish-Portuguese LEA Bachelor (Foreign Languages) at the University of La Rochelle. I then had the opportunity to move to the United States (4 years) and worked in the beauty industry but in order to do this my level of English had to be tested so I passed the TOEFL and TOEIC exam, while giving French lessons and offering translation services to individuals during my free time.

My teaching method is based mainly, but not only, on oral communication through real life situation exercises . A theme will be chosen, a list of vocabulary in accordance with it will be established and put into practice first in writing and then in a spontaneous conversation. The goal is that the student could maintain a coherent conversation with an English speaker both in writing and orally. English Phonetic modules will as well be put in place.
