About Ceyda
I graduated from Hacettepe University, English Language and Literature department in 2018. After graduating, I taught English at a private school for a year. Then, I worked as an English Instructor for two years in the Preparatory Department at a private university. In this unit, I taught students at different levels in all skills. In addition to this, I was the manager of the English activity club at the university where I worked, and I was responsible for the activity, and I did material editing tasks. I had to quit my job at the university due to the change of city. I turned to book translation. For the last year, I have been working as a translator and I continue to give private lessons. It is always my goal to get my students as advanced as possible within the five skills. However, apart from the online lessons we will do, we are in a pleasant and disciplined learning process by keeping in touch with my students, by following up their homework and giving feedback.

I gave private lessons during my student years, after graduation, during my time as an English teacher at private school and university, I gave lessons to students of different levels and ages, including speaking, writing, reading, listening and grammar, separately or focused on a single skill, and I still do. . I teach my online courses interactively to develop all these skills. I carefully prepare my course materials, where more students than me can be at the center during the course, by directing them according to the student's interests. Since I see English as the ability to understand, comprehend and express rather than focusing on grammar, the materials I use in my classes are shaped in this direction. For this reason, it has always been my goal to instill in my students the notion that English is not a lesson, but an understanding of a language and culture.
