About Jourdi
I have been giving English lessons for a year and have had three students. My students have given feedback that they became stronger in English because of a welcoming environment and engaging subjects during the lessons. My ultimate goal for my students is to create a learning environment that encourages my students to pursue their curiosity and ask questions.

I am an American teaching to all levels of students, from novices to advance/C2. I have experience teaching business english and general conversation and have worked in the US as an arts marketer, community manager, and office manager.
From my personal experience, I have found that teaching only in English has shown the best results and am a strong proponent of mini-sessions of immersion. It is important for me that the lessons are engaging, enjoyable, and encouraging. My ultimate goal is for a student to have confidence in speaking a foreign language.
Business
My experience and expertise include marketing, management, accounting, preparing students for interviews and presentations. I can also translate and edit CVs and letters of motivation.
Theatre
Having graduated from the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago, I am also specialized in dramatic criticism and playwriting.
