About Afroditi
I am a primary school teacher that specialises in teaching ESL students and specifically refugee students. I have completed a Refugee project conducted with the NSW Education Department and taught groups of students from years 2 - 6 including new arrival students.

My name is Afroditi Short. I have a kind friendly disposition and have taught ESL and refugee students for 27 years.
Taught students individually and in small group situations to develop their oral, reading and writing skills. Included with my teaching is extending student's background knowledge by focussing on building topic and interpersonal language. (Survival Language of English)
