About Valeria
I taught English in high schools, and I also gave private lessons, until I moved abroad for quite a long time. With my students we have always worked in order to improve both school performance and language use in everyday life: this has helped young people understand and be understood while traveling, get in touch with people from other countries, read a text in English at university or for leisure.

I'm Valeria, and I've been an English teacher for a some years. I did my job in classical and scientific high schools, with short experiences also in middle schools. Therefore, I mainly teach the children, helping them to to prepare for exams or to improve their performances at school. At the same time, I often work with adults, who want to make some conversation about topics of their interest, specifically tourism (which is my present job today), history and literature (I have a PhD on these issues). Let's set the next goal together: prepare for an exam, improve written or oral comprehension, learn grammar, study literature. According to your needs, we will decide together how to proceed, selecting texts and exercises suitable for the purpose. We'll try to work as much as possible together to achieve our goal.
