About Giselle
I am a bilingual university student with a passion for languages. I love traveling and the outdoors and spend a lot of time in Norway, where I spent my Erasmus semester (the nature there is beautiful!). That's why online classes are an easy option for me. I am a very social person and I really enjoy getting to know people, punishment and strict teaching is not my vibe! Learning should be fun :)

I use the "solar system theory" in my approach to teaching English, which means that I will introduce the language layer by layer, starting with the most common words, phrases, and tense(s). In doing so, I use materials from everyday life, such as articles, podcasts, you name it. Then we expand, step by step.
I like this approach because it gives more structure and accessibility to learning a language, which at times can feel a bit overwhelming.
Moreover, the pupil can use English in everyday life faster because we start with what is useful in the real world!
Of course I adapt to the level of the student and can always give explanations in Dutch or French when necessary.
Above all I want to give the learner the confidence to express themselves in English. Making mistakes is part of the learning process!
A prior conversation with the student helps me to adapt my lessons to your expectations. I will then make a personalised learning schedule .

Perfect! Giselle is een geweldige lerares, die de tijd neemt om het je uit te leggen tot je het begrijpt, je leert alles vanzelf bij haar. Eerlijk gezegd beveel ik haar aan.

Perfect! Ik moest een enquête naar het Engels vertalen, en binnen een anderhalve uur had ik de vertaalde enquête weer binnen in mijn mailbox. Snelle reactie, maar ook kwaliteitsvolle werk. Nogmaals bedankt, Giselle!

Gisele is een super sympathieke en enthousiaste lerares! Haar systeem van lesgeven is efficiënt en voelt natuurlijk aan. Aan de hand van haar systeem kreeg ik sneller basis vaardigheden in het Engels dan ik ooit had verwacht.
Giselle is zeer vriendelijk en geduldig en ze gaat heel goed om met jongeren en jongvolwassenen. Ze is engelstalig en dus zeer geschikt om bijlessen Engles te geven.
I highly recommend Giselle as a dedicated teacher, very patient and skilled. Easy to talk to! :)
