About Paul

I have been playing piano for 18 years, and have been teaching for 8 of them. I have a 100% pass rate when putting students through grade exams, and, to my great pride, over 90% of these students have achieved either Merits or Distinctions.

I love teaching, and love seeing results. I use a “simultaneous learning” teaching method throughout my lessons so you or your child will learn musical theory effortlessly alongside piano technique.

I will adapt to your needs and am happy to teach beginners up to grade 6, and am happy to take any age from 6 up to 96 (or beyond)!

About the lesson

Piano lessons historically have been strict, formulaic, and inflexible.

I hate that!

I teach piano in a way adapted to each student. If you like classical music? We can do that. If you like Elton John? We can work towards that! Just let me know what you need from me, and we can achieve your goals together.
