About Mona
I have been teaching English on a freelance basis for two years. I teach private one-to-one lessons and have taught more than 10 students. After my lessons, my students have been more effective at communicating with colleagues, friends and clients in formal and informal settings, in person and online. My students have found that they are able to express themselves more descriptively using advanced grammar and vocabulary, and have better listening and comprehension skills in a fast-paced verbal dialogue.
One of my clients was a volunteer translator at a local non-profit in Chicago where she interpreted between Hispanic, non-English speaking individuals and US employees at the non-profit.
Another client in Illinois worked at a Fortune 500 company in the FMCG marketing department as a manager. Through my lessons, he improved his understanding of English grammar rules and phrasal verbs which allowed him to express himself more confidently and articulately to partners and management in-person and more effectively and professionally on e-mail and digital communication.
Another client based in Dubai worked at a Fortune 500 B2B technology company. His lessons focused specifically on spoken English with an emphasis on Business and casual English. Over the course of our lessons, he became increasingly aware of English phrases used in business and casual settings, and was able to lead dialogues and presentations to clients more confidently and astutely.
