About Amaarah
I am an ESOL Tutor, and an English and Maths tutor. I have been teaching ESOL and English and Maths for over 6 years. I have taught hundreds of students. I am proud to say, that the children I have taught have gone on to achieve really good SATs grades. Many of the adults learning ESOL, have progressed from Entry 1 to Entry 3 and then gone on to college or found work. These a;)re some of the reasons why I continue to teach :)

My teaching methodology is very much student-centred. I believe in involving my learners as much as possible. I may well start off the lesson by prodding my learners in order to assess how much they know about the subject to begin with. I really like to involve my learners in their learning, so that they feel empowered and in control of their own education.
