About TinaMarie
Let’s take a little time to talk and get to know each other so we can see if working and studying together is a good fit. I’ve spent much of my adult life as a student, and I understand the challenges adult learners face when balancing school, work, and family responsibilities. Together, we can create a schedule and agenda that fits your life and makes the most of our time. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling confident, accomplished, and proud of your progress. While I am new to this platform, I have 5+ years of tutoring experience, developing lessons for students of Philosophy, English, Business, Researchers, Social Science and History. If your first language is French, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese, I have a linguistic background in Romance languages. This background has helped me work with ESL students to improve both their academic and professional skills. I have degrees with concentrations in: Social Sciences, Business Administration & Management, Public Administration. I have a current ESL certification. I have a Master's degree in Education.

For those preparing for exams such as IELTS or TOEFL, I offer focused test strategies, targeted practice, and detailed feedback designed to improve both confidence and performance. Grammar review is also an integral part of my lessons, helping students develop accuracy and clarity in their communication. I have taught Business English classes for professionals to improve their conversational, comprehension, and presentation skills.
