About Gwyneth

My name is Gwyneth and I am a first-class honors graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During my studies, I was awarded nine university scholarships, including the prestigious Betty Ho Prize in Law for ranking first in my class, multiple Dean’s List distinctions, and several research essay awards. I teach across the full range of Hong Kong law curriculum subjects—Contract, Tort, Land, Company Law, and beyond—and specialize in tailoring lessons and comprehensive law notes to meet each student’s exact syllabus and needs. Whether you are preparing for university exams, professional qualifications, or academic research, I can break down complex concepts into clear, structured explanations. In addition to teaching substantive law, I also mentor students on legal research and writing. I can guide you through every stage of a research paper, from framing your question to refining your arguments for academic excellence. My approach is both rigorous and supportive, helping students build strong analytical skills while gaining the confidence to apply the law effectively in exams and practical settings.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is entirely student-focused. I begin by identifying and clarifying any gaps in understanding, ensuring you have a solid grasp of the key legal concepts before moving on. Once the foundations are clear, we apply them directly through working on tutorial problems, past paper questions, and exam-style scenarios together. This method helps you see how the law operates in context and builds the skills needed to analyse questions effectively under exam conditions.
