About Kristen

Hi! I’m Miss Kris, an experienced dance teacher and gymnastics coach who loves helping dancers become stronger, more confident, and technically secure.

I teach ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, musical theater, technique, turns, leaps, flexibility, and conditioning. I’m also certified in Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) and have experience working with both recreational and competitive dancers.

My teaching style is positive, encouraging, and individualized. I enjoy figuring out what each dancer needs and breaking down skills in a way that makes sense to them. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer looking for extra coaching, I’ll meet you at your level and help you reach your goals while keeping dance fun!

About the lesson

Dance is so much more than learning steps. My goal is to help every dancer become stronger, more confident, more expressive, and more technically secure — while still enjoying the process.

I’m an experienced dance teacher and gymnastics coach with a background in ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, musical theatre, competition dance, flexibility, conditioning, turns, leaps, and jumps. I am also certified in Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT), which allows me to incorporate specialized exercises that develop strength, alignment, stability, and proper technique.

One of my strengths as a teacher is recognizing that every dancer learns differently. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all lesson. I look at the individual dancer — their strengths, the areas holding them back, and what they want to accomplish — and build training around them.
