About Ethan
I believe in a strength-based approach to teaching and learning. I strive to meet my students where they are at which will allow us to learn and grow together. My lessons are designed to incorporate student feedback and preferences while still pushing each student to achieve. I believe in having fun while learning. I also offer experience with career counseling and would be happy to provide resources for students regarding career information.

My lessons can be structured in a multitude of ways. I believe in developing a learning plan around my student's needs, wants, and lived experiences. I successfully designed courses and curriculum for ESL students at Canadian Language Benchmark levels 1-6. The lessons will always begin with a review of the previous lesson's work. I will then provide an overview of the daily content before assigning measurable tasks that can be completed during or after the lesson. Finally, the lessons will end with a full recap of the day's lesson and a question period (although questions are encouraged throughout the lesson).
