I am a Master’s-qualified ESL instructor with over 13 years of international teaching experience helping adult learners achieve real, lasting improvement in their English skills. My background in Curriculum and Instruction, combined with formal ESL training and extensive classroom experience, allows me to provide structured, effective, and professional lessons tailored to each learner’s goals.
Throughout my career, I have taught students from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, including university students, working professionals, and adult learners preparing for employment, academic study, and life in English-speaking environments. I specialize in helping learners improve conversational fluency, professional communication, grammar accuracy, and pronunciation, with a strong focus on practical, real-world application.

My approach as an ESL tutor is practical, personalized, and focused on helping learners use English confidently in real-world situations. With over 13 years of international teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, I design lessons that are structured, engaging, and directly relevant to each learner’s goals.
I use a communicative, student-centered teaching method. This means students spend most of the lesson actively speaking, listening, reading, and solving meaningful tasks rather than passively studying rules. I help learners understand grammar clearly, but always in context, so they can use it naturally in conversation, professional settings, and everyday life. I also incorporate pronunciation coaching, vocabulary development, and guided feedback to help students improve quickly and build confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a short review and conversation to activate prior knowledge and identify areas for improvement. Next, I introduce a targeted skill, such as a grammar structure, pronunciation feature, or communication strategy, using clear explanations and examples. Students then practice the skill through structured exercises, role-plays, or discussion activities. The lesson ends with feedback, correction, and practical suggestions for continued improvement. Lessons are adapted continuously based on progress and learning needs.
What sets me apart is my combination of extensive teaching experience, formal training in curriculum design, and focus on practical outcomes. I do not rely on generic lessons.
