About Yulia
I've been teaching English for over 15 years to children, teenagers and adults in Russia, Ireland and Australia. My focus area is IELTS and academic writing, and I can help you with essay planning, IELTS writing, editing or grammar and vocabulary questions. I help train future language teachers at a university and I'm also writing a PhD dissertation about international students in Australia.

Perfect! Yulia is an excellent teacher as she gave individualised advice so I was able to strengthen my weakness in a very short time.
She is also very resourceful, always sharing with me meterials that would help me the most.
She is very encouraging, when I made repeated mistake, she is always patient and not critising.
One time I missed a class but she arranged another time to make up the miss.
Unlike other tutors, when you miss, it is your loss, no refund or make up.
She also goes out of her way to help me.
On the day of my test, because she knows that I perform better in IELTS speaking test if I have a warm up practice, she offered to practice with me right before my speaking exam.
She is the best IELTS teacher you would hope for.

I got an overall 8 in IELTS exam thanks to Yulia's help.
What I benefit the most from Yulia's lessons was her advice that was tailored to my weakness so that I could work on strengthening my weak points efficiently.
On top of that, she is very resourceful. She shared with me various materials that really helped me.
These include grammar textbooks, educational websites, and others materials specific for IELTS preparation.
She would mark certain pages for me to practice as homework.
In addition, Yulia has lots of patience and is very encouraging.
When I made repeated mistakes, she never got impatient or frustrated or criticized me.
Instead, she repeated pointing out my errors as it was mentioned the first time.

Overall, highly recommend taking her class.I am glad I contacted Yulia when I was looking for a tutor. I only had a few weeks to prepare my IELTS for VISA reasons, and I never attended one before.
