About Zack
I am a linguist, translator and teacher. I have a BA in Spanish, a Master's in Translation and have taught ESL (or "ELL"). I am fluent in Spanish and can also use Spanish to help teach English. I have also spent extended time living abroad in Barcelona, Spain.

My teaching methodology is a cross between practical and avant guard; I like to use less 'common' strategies to help improve English. Some of these strategies help with vocabulary and others may help with accents/pronunciation. I also make sure to talk with my students to hear what they are 'really' wanting to focus on. If comprehension is the biggest hurdle, that becomes my main focus. For me, it's all about the student!

*Due to transportation constraints, I will 'not' be able to meet students outside of the NYC Metro Area; this includes all of New Jersey. If you are a NJ resident and would be willing to come into the City (at your own expense), I would gladly help coordinate a time/place for a session!
