About Olga
A little bit about me:
- born in Ukraine, raised in Canada
- BA in Philosophy and Sociology with distinction (University of Alberta)
- CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults from Cambridge)
- 8 years of experience teaching different levels and ages
- experience living and working abroad (Spain and Mexico)
- fluent in Spanish, Ukrainian and Russian
My classes feel like a conversation with a friend. I bring high energy to class and introduce interesting topics that align with your interests or professional development (e.g. current events and trends, personal growth, health and medicine, literature, food, psychology, philosophy, travel, business English, etc). It's never a dull moment in class. You will receive lots of corrections and useful explanations that will make your speech more natural and improve your pronunciation.
I've helped many of my students to ace exams (FCE, CAE, IELTS, TOEFL, etc), interviews and practice delivering presentations. Also, I have helped my students to improve their writing, such as resumes, cover letters and articles for scientific journals.
