About Jass

I aim for music lessons that are fun and engaging. I tailor lessons to suit the individual, whether you are learning for fun, or wish to more seriously focus on examinations and formal achievements.

My own musical career began with my first piano lesson at the age of 5 years. Being born into a family of piano teachers, I absorbed three generations worth of knowledge, tips and advice but ensure this is relevant to lessons today.

About the lesson

I am very happy to offer a trial reduced fee first lesson as I feel it is vital for you to be able to relax and feel free to make mistakes. How else can any of us learn? I fully believe that as the teacher it is my responsibility to ensure we create an environment where you feel safe to "have a go". If we get this right, you will learn to play, and i will simply be your guide on a wonderful musical journey.

I primarily work with the ABRSM material for examinations, but am familiar with other boards such as Trinity College or the London School of Music.

Please note: Superprof charges a separate monthly subscription fee to students to enable contact with tutors. This fee is set by Superprof and is entirely separate from my lesson fees.
