About Moemen
I am a structural engineer specialising in structural analysis, seismic engineering, and computational modelling, with over fourteen years of combined academic and professional experience. I hold a PhD in Structural Engineering from Imperial College London, where my research focused on the seismic assessment and retrofitting of substandard multi-storey reinforced concrete buildings.
Alongside my research, I have contributed to teaching at Imperial College London, supporting structural engineering modules and working closely with both undergraduate and postgraduate students. This experience has strengthened my ability to explain complex engineering concepts in a clear and accessible manner, while bridging the gap between academic theory and professional practice.
I am passionate about teaching and knowledge transfer, and I continue to work as a tutor across a range of subjects and levels, supporting students in developing both their technical understanding and problem-solving skills.
