About Roxanne
I currently work as a Year 3 primary school teacher. Within my current job, I have worked closely with EAL students assisting in both their written and spoken English. As well as this, for 6 months I volunteered in a Primary School as part of a 'reading scheme'; I assisted a group of students with their reading, including EAL students. I have recently graduated from the Open University where I studied French and Children's Literature; prior to the Open University, I studied at the University of Portsmouth where I studied TESOL, French and Spanish.

I cater my lessons to suit the students' needs and learning styles thus always putting the student first! Prior to my current job, I worked as a TEFL teacher teaching English as a Second Language to an array of students all varying in age. I prefer to teach using realia/visual aids as well as encouraging students to practice their spoken skills using a communicative approach.
