I've taught since college. But started my own studio in 2011. I have had some wonderful teachers and some not so great as well as great and not so great experiences in my career and work and teaching allows me to give back to actors and help them navigate both their craft and career.

It depends on what the student needs. I work either in class or privately. I start with each actor's strengths and abilities and work from there.
All levels from stars to beginners. I don't usually work with kids.
Find someone with experience who is currently working, who speaks to you and inspires you.
I was called in to coach on a series of commercials with celebrities having TV installed. The company decided to use one of their real technicians instead of an actor. When we started working to gether he had never acted and was nervous as heck. I worked with him and then with him and the director. By the time they were shooting, production told me he was relaxed and having fun and killing it.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
It depends on their needs and goals. Check the teacher out. If they're an actor, are they currently working? Ask about the approach and does it make sense to and for you? Do you like the teacher as a person? it's important.
