About
I have nearly 10 years of training elementary and secondary kids with coping skills when faced with a crisis.
I have a passion for helping students succeed in their studies. My goal is to inspire and assist in developing effective learning habits. When I encounter a student struggling with motivation or focus, I engage in conversation to understand the root cause of their challenges. If the issue is related to the subject matter, I customize my approach by making the content more engaging where I connect it to real-life examples or the student's personal interests. This helps them see the relevance and value of what they are learning.
I also break down complex topics into smaller, manageable tasks and set achievable goals for each session, which boosts their confidence and sense of accomplishment. I may also suggest taking short breaks or incorporating energizing activities to help students regain focus.
My ultimate goal is to create an environment where students feel comfortable discussing their challenges and feel motivated to overcome them.
