About Victoria

"Victoria Lane is a piano and vocal instructor, as well as a performer. She enjoys many different styles and genres to include jazz, pop, classical, and gospel. Her love for music started young, she grew up in a musician's house and began singing and playing on stage when she was too young to remember. Victoria continued her music education with a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Arts from Johnson University. She enjoys teaching vocalists of all ages and showing young pianists how much fun music can be."

I grew up in a musician's home and learned to love music from my father who is also a music teacher.

I have a B.A. in Musical Arts and have taught for the past 7 years.

About the lesson

The key to learning is to have a desire to understand. It is my goal as a teacher to help stir that desire in students. I always want to know the goal of the student and work on a plan to achieve that goal in a fun and engaging way.

I have worked with students ages 4 to 24 teaching them piano, voice, and music theory.

Find someone willing to create a plan for your goals, not someone who will give everyone a one-size-fits-all curriculum.

Details

I charge $25 per half-hour lesson and $40 per hour lesson. Half-hour lessons are available for all ages. However, I will discuss the age and development of a student before agreeing to teach an hour-long lesson. The reason for this is simply that young children have a shorter attention span and will not engage online for an hour.
