About Gary

As a lifelong professional piano-accompanist, performer, and recording artist, I've played in just about any musical situation imaginable.

My ability to teach piano accompaniment for all levels and styles surfaced as a teenager, helping bandmates in my bands, and singers in musicals I accompanied. I have been helping vocalists of all types with their self-accompaniment ever since.

My teaching is exceptional because it's fully personalized – tailored and paced to your ability and goals. After a few diagnostics, we jump into any song(s) you want to put 'in your hands.' Can't read music?...We'll find another practice method that fits your comfort zone.

I guarantee to make the experience both fun and productive for you, helping you develop a skill you can enjoy for the rest of your life.
