First I will assess the child's current tennis knowlege and abilities to determine starting point for them. Will work with student to develop a specific set of competencies for their current level. Will utilize a games based approach to teaching, so the student learns tactical as well as technical skills.

I have worked with kids from 4 years old to adults.

Teaching methods have changed over the years. You should seek and instructor who understands and uses the latest teaching methods. Look for an instructor who is flexible in their teaching approach and who has patience.Find someone who is positive and makes you feel good about playing the game.

I have coached adult USTA teams to National Championships 8 times.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. What is your goal. What are you trying to accomplish.

2. What are the traits you are looking for in an instructor beyond their tennis knowlege.

3. What level of commitment you have to learning to play tennis. For example, how many days per week will you dedicate to learning and playing tennis.
