About Oksana

Oksana was born in a small town in Siberia. At the age of 21 she moved to Saint Petersburg, Russia. Away from her family and friends and all alone in a big city, she worked numerous jobs while going to school to earn her Bachelor's degree in accounting. After graduation, Oksana had a successful career as an accountant up until 2013 when she moved to Miami. In Florida, she basically had to begin her life from scratch learning new language, new traditions, new skills, and meeting new friends. She had to prove it to the World she could achieve something once again in her life. While being a very gentle and sensitive soul, Oksana had to be facing numerous challenges and stressful experiences during her life journey. She began searching for techniques to mitigate the high stress levels and keep her body healthy. As a result, she discovered yoga and meditation practices that eventually became her passion, her lifestyle and her new profession.

Oksana has completed the Yoga Teacher Training at Om'echaye studio and became a RYT 200 hr Registered Yoga Instructor at Yoga Alliance. Additionally, she graduated from the YogaTwist Kids Teacher Training conducted by Julie Halpern.

From the moment Oksana became a certified Yoga teacher, she has thrived to share her personal life-changing yoga practice experience with her students and inspire them to be thankful for their body and their life challenges. Oksana's teachings come from her heart with the profound intent to help others discover their strengths, and become healthier and happier persons every day. She believes, when adversity crosses our path, yoga is the best tool to overcome it.

Yoga lessons offered by Oksana are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Aventura. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
