About Kathleen

I teach yoga to all ages--from 3-95, including families! I teach all ability levels, including yoga from a chair, and prenatal yoga. I teach gentle, restorative, and more active--all in the vinyasa flow style. I am available for private and/or group classes as well as corporate settings and parties/special events.

I also teach mindfulness meditation.

I have been teaching since 2014 and have over 700 hours of training in various specialties. My goals are to make participants sit a little straighter, stand up a little taller and breathe easy!

I am a registered 500-hour yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and registered as an experienced 200-hour teacher with them as well.

I initially started teaching kids back in 2014 after moving to Brisbane, Australia in 2011 and noticing how yoga was less popular there. In 2019, we moved back to Colorado and I have been fortunate to continue to work in my passion here.

I am certified through Yoga Alliance and have over 700 hours of training in various yoga specialties.

About the lesson

I will find out what your goals are, what you are hoping to get out of yoga and/or meditation classes. We will discuss any injuries, limitations and/or health concerns as well as available times and location to practice.

I have taught kids as young as 3 and seniors as old as 94. I have taught very active, healthy people as well as those in wheelchairs with very limited mobility.

Make sure to speak and ideally even physically or virtually meet with a prospective teacher. There are many teachers out there, and many students, and you want to make sure you click with the teacher you choose.

Last summer, I taught Sunset Yoga in Majestic View Park through the Apex. It was gorgous--a perfect setting to tune in to ourselves!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about their overall wellness goals, as well as any physical limitations or health concerns they want the teacher to know about. They should also be realistic about the time they are hoping to commit.
