About Laura

I am a 500 Hour Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher with additional certifications for Prenatal and Yin Yoga. My studies also included proper sequencing of the asana or physical practice as well as Meditation and Ayurveda (sister science to yoga).

It is most important to get to know my students and their goals for practicing yoga. Your 1 hour private lesson will be developed specifically for you giving you a personalized and exjoyable experience.

I love sharing my passion and dedication to the practice of yoga and creating a personalized experience for my students. Additionally, I strive to ensure the student's goals are being met all the while maintaining a safe practice of yoga.

I started teaching upon my graduation of my 200 hour trainig in 2015 and continue to teach today.

I have completed a 500 Hour Advanced Yoga Studies' program through Yoga Shakti Studios as well as 85 Hour Prenatal and 16 Hour Yin Yoga Certification training.

I teach a corporate yoga class weekly at a local insurance company as well as sub at Yoga Shakti, The Yoga Mat and Baker Ranch Yoga.

About the lesson

We have an initial phone call to discuss the student's goals, hourly fee, duration of the private lesson and any concerns the student or I might have.

I have worked with male, femaile of various ages, body types and levels. The advantage of private lessons I can tailor the private lessons specifically to the students needs and goals.

I always suggest that the student ask as many questions as they need to be sure their needs are met and to complete their 6 lessons to see the effect that yoga has on their lives.

Also, I encourage that each student remain open to the positive changes that occurs with a regular yoga practice.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The student should be honest about any conditions or injuries they currently have. A yoga teacher is not a doctor but it helps tremendously if they have a clear picture of the student's general health when developing their private lessons.

Details

I charge $40/per 1 hour private lesson. Generally, private lessons are taught 6 weeks at a time so I do offer a discount for a 6 lesson committment for $200.
