About Maggie

My name is Maggie Mart and I am a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Instructor, NASM certified Nutrition Coach, and have been a professional acrobat and performer for over 16 years. Having worked for Cirque Du' Soleil, Disneyland, Disney World, and more has allowed me to observe, immerse, and learn all sorts of body movements, sports, and art forms from all over the world which is what guided me to the amazing and wonderful world of Yoga. Yoga has positively effected my mind, body, and spirit both in my personal and professional career so much that I knew Yoga was something I had share with others and I am excited to share what I have learned throughout my years with you.

My classes are customized to directly fit the needs of the client no matter their level of movement. They are fun feel good classes that encourage the body and mind back into balance while building self confidence and an overall feeling of peace and harmony.

Helping people to achieve their wellness goals and feel better about themselves from the inside out is my passion. Everyone deserves to live a balanced life, have a wonderful relationship with their body, and feel good about who they are. I truly commit to helping you get there.

My years of performing guided me to Yoga. Yoga opened so much for me that I knew I wanted others to feel the amazing benefits I felt and was moved to become yoga certified.

About the lesson

I like to really take the time to get to know each client and what their specific needs are. I want each person I work with to feel that I am there to help them achieve their personal movement goals.

All sorts from young to old. People who move all the time and those who are just starting their movement and yoga journey. No matter your background, weight, strength, or flexibilty I am here to help you to feel good and achieve yoga and movement goals.

Most important is to look for a teacher who listens, cares, and is flexible to adapt what they have learned to the specific needs of the client.

I was recently asked to create and record a 30 minuite yoga class to be shared via Zoom with the Down Sydrome and Autism community here in Las Vegas. It was such a great experience putting together a class that took into consideration the specific needs and the inclusion of the parent, friend, or caretaker. It was very fullfilling and warmed my heart to make a special class for the special needs. What an honor.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I recommend students take a bit of time to identify what is bringing them to yoga, why they want to try it, and what goals they have in mind.

It could be as simple as you just want to try something new or as specific as accomplishing a specific pose or skill. This identification will help the student as well as the teacher in each session. The student will know their why and the teacher will know how to structure the class so they can truly help the student to acheive their goals.
