About Dulce

Hello! And welcome to my profile page. My name is Dulce Capadocia and I am an experienced movement teacher. I am trained in Dance and worked professionally as an award-winning choreographer in the Los Angeles area for many years. My mother founded the first Philippine dance company in Los Angeles - the Silayan Dance Company. My training is in Dance and Performance. I received my degrees from Loyola Marymount University and Temple University in Philadelphia and have taught in schools, studios, community centers and universities.

I discovered yoga over a decade ago when both my parents became terminally ill. A dancer friend took me to Max Strom's class and the healing power of yoga washed over me, I have been hooked since and in 2012, completed my Yoga Teachers Training at the distinguished Yoga Works Studios with Jeanne Heileman, my first teacher. Since then, I have been teaching all levels of Vinyasa - both in Los Angeles and in Philadelphia.

My classes, focused on alignment and safety, can be vigorous .....or gentle and can be tailor made to your needs.
