About Gisele

Gisele came to the United States from Canada in 2010 with her husband to explore new opportunities. Previously, Gisele was a French teacher and continues to infuse her passion for yoga with her love of teaching. She is a certified yoga teacher through the 200 hour training at Yoga Works in New York City. After discovering the benefits of Restorative Yoga, Gisele was inspired to delve more deeply with trainings for this soothing and nurturing practice which promotes healing on all levels- physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. She has completed intensive Restorative Yoga trainings in Toronto and New York City. Gisele is also a certified Reiki Master and through an energetic and intuitive approach, she guides her students with healthy breathing, proper body alignment and balancing energy flow. Her compassion, creativity, sensitivity and deep commitment to this healing practice has created her personal mantra "Give Yourself Permission to do Less Instead of More". Gisele sees her Restorative Yoga practice as an integral part of her life, and this has sparked her passion for sharing this gift of healing with others. She is now traveling to share her passion of offering various workshops, day retreats, weekend retreats and Restore-With-Yoga trainings to anyone who is interested in learning about the deeper layers of healing and importance of self-care. She is convinced that it is impossible to outgrow this relaxing practice because it reveals more to you every time you practice.

I was an elementary school teacher for 14 years in Canada. I taught kids with special needs. I needed to find more ways to relax my busy mind and this is when my yoga journey began.

I have been doing yoga for 20 years now. I have attended 7 Restorative Trainings. I have a 200 hour yoga certification from Yoga Works in NY and another 100 hour training in Iyengar Yoga. I have created 2 “Restore-With-Yoga” training manuals to assist others teachers on their journey. I now travel internationally to offer workshops, trainings and retreats. I love to share my passion with the world. We are all capable of healing our body, mind and soul with support.

About the lesson

The student calls me to set an appointment and we discuss their needs/concerns. I share the healing modalities I love to teach to support client on his/her journey to wellness. I use different healing modalities such as Restorative Yoga, Reiki, sound healing with crystal bowls and drumming, essential oils, meditation, breathing techniques and many tools to assist with anxiety and sleep issues.

I work with the average person who experiences stress, anxiety, depression and sleep issues. I love working with people who really need support with Lyme Disease, Cancer or any other chronic illness. I used to work with children quite a lot but my focus is now to support adults on their healing journey

It is important to have a nice connection with the teacher you would like to consider working with. My priority is to create a safe, loving and healing space for all my clients. Everyone can attend my healing sessions even if they have never had any experience with any of the modalities I teach. Everyone is welcome and I invite clients to explore a self-care practice that will change their world.

Details

I have a 75 minute introductory private session for $88. This gives the participant an opportunity to experience my healing work using different modalities. Afterwards, a 75 minute session is $122, a 90 minute session is $144.
