About Michael

200 Hour Certified Yoga Instructor

15 years of practice around the country at various types of studios, mostly warm or hot. I learned Hatha, POWER, Vinyasa, and even Bikram styles. I came to Florida I learned Power Vinyasa Flow with musical element and that is what I chose to become certified in. I’ve been certified to teach for about six months.

Yoga saved my life. TWICE. My goal is this portion of my life is to help people. I have been through a significant amount of trauma and my goal now is to help other people who are in need. I can help with yoga and establishing a nice home practice if that is your goal. Or if you want to just sweat and get in shape we’ll that is awesome too! I would need to travel to you most likely. The space must be warm but not necessarily hot. Your choice. I generally work from 11 - 3 for private instruction but may be available outside of that window of time on occasion. I am available in the 32771 zip code area. Available in Deland on most Tuesdays. Rate is currently $30 per session plus travel. My schedule is very limited currently.

I've always loved yoga since the first class I took in Dallas almost fifteen years ago. I always wanted to teach but I was working 50/60 hours so I barely had time to practice. Now that I’m retired I look forward to teaching others the joy and healing that I have personally experienced.

200 Hour Power Vinyasa Flow received in June.

Prior to my retirement I was a 28 year employee at Verizon successfully managing a strategic project management team.

About the lesson

I like to initially talk with people on the phone (text is fine) to get to start to know who they are and what they are looking to achieve. After I can travel to you or on warm days practice outside. Always your preference.

I currently work in a gym so it’s a mix of knowledge and ability.
