About Jannai
Hello music lovers and piano lovers in particular!
I am Jannai Torné, a professional composer and pianist with more than 12 years of experience in music. Since I was a child, my great passion is to create, creative projects and ideas are always brewing in my head.
To express myself, I have found different artistic vehicles: poetry, narrative, cinema, videogames... but without a doubt, it is in music where I have found my authentic speaker. I am in love with sound and also with silence, with how it is physically composed and with its ability to generate emotions. And without a doubt, the piano is the instrument with which I express myself best. Music is a language, and being able to improvise on the piano is one of the greatest freedoms that exist.
To get here, I have been trained in classical music all these years, which has allowed me to immerse myself in the masterpieces of the piano repertoire, refine my piano technique and enjoy these wonderful works. Also, I have an unconditional love for tango, jazz and rock, which complement my diverse approach.
My goal is to share my knowledge and passion with you, regardless of your level. Each person has a unique musical story, and I'm excited to be a part of yours.

Hello and welcome to the world of piano!
Whether you want to learn to read sheet music or speak the music language through the piano and improvisation, this is your place. My goal is to immerse you in the magic of this instrument through a unique experience:
In each class, we will explore the piano in three exciting stages:
1. Fundamentals and Theory (10 min): We will start with a theoretical base. But don't worry, it won't be a boring lesson. I will make the theory relevant and understandable for you.
2. Creative Expression (40 min): Next, we'll get into action. We will put into practice what you learned through creativity and improvisation. I want you to feel how each note comes to life under your fingers and how you can freely express yourself through the piano.
3. Personal Creation (10 min): Once we've explored the concepts, it's time for the exciting time to create—yes, create, you heard that right. Although we are in piano class, throughout my experience as a teacher I have seen that creation provides a completely different perspective of the instrument, it creates a personal connection between you and the piano. We'll bring a composition to life from scratch and you'll bring your creation to the next class so we can continue to build on it.
These classes are flexible and adapted to you. It doesn't matter if you are a keen beginner, an intermediate pianist or someone who wants to rekindle their love for the piano.
Each note you play will be another step in your musical journey. I am excited to be your guide on this adventure!

He estado estudiando piano nueve años y, durante este tiempo, he tenido numerosos profesores. Todos me han enseñado, pero desde el primer día que Jannai fue mi profesor pude ver la pasión que tiene por la música y la facilidad que tiene para transmitirla.
Como alumna, he de decir que, en muy poco tiempo, ha conseguido que mi evolución en el piano crezca exponencialmente, ya que es un profesor que se preocupa y que hace aflorar el potencial del alumno.
