About Ismail

Hello! My name is Ismail, and I’m a fluent Arabic and English speaker living in Canada.

I spent much of my childhood and teenage years growing up in Egypt, where I developed a deep understanding of the Arabic language and culture. I am fluent in Modern Standard Arabic, Egyptian Arabic, and Levantine Arabic, including speaking, reading, and writing.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and the Study of Religion from Saint Mary’s University and have several years of professional experience working in education and program coordination.

Having grown up between different languages and cultures, I understand how valuable it is to communicate confidently in another language.

I’m passionate about helping people learn Arabic in a friendly, relaxed, and encouraging environment. I believe language learning should be enjoyable, practical, and adapted to each person’s needs.

Whether you’re learning Arabic for travel, family, work, or personal interest, I’d be happy to help you achieve your goals.

About the lesson

My Arabic lessons focus on one-on-one communication, conversation, and practical language skills. I believe the best way to learn a language is through regular conversation, practice, and building confidence.

I offer lessons in Modern Standard Arabic, Egyptian Arabic, and Levantine Arabic, tailored to each student’s experience, interests, and learning goals.

My lessons are primarily one-on-one, allowing me to give each student personalized attention. However, I am also happy to accommodate small groups of two or three students who would like to learn together.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your fluency, my goal is to create a relaxed, welcoming environment where you can learn at your own pace.

Lessons can focus on everyday conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, writing, and understanding Arabic-speaking cultures.

All lessons are conducted online, making it easy to learn from wherever you are!
