About Vini
I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 5 years of experience teaching English to High School and College students. I have taught around 150–200 students and helped them develop strong foundations in English that support their academic and personal growth.
One of the most significant milestones in my career has been guiding students who initially struggled with basic grammar, vocabulary, or confidence into becoming capable writers, readers, and speakers of English. I focus on creating lessons that are not only educational but also engaging and meaningful, helping students connect what they learn to real-life situations.
My approach is highly individualised. I assess each student’s strengths and challenges, design lessons to suit their needs, and provide structured guidance combined with practical exercises. I emphasise reading, writing, listening, and speaking equally, while incorporating study strategies that help students retain and apply knowledge effectively.
I believe a positive learning environment is essential. I encourage questions, practice, and active participation, creating a safe space where students feel supported in taking risks and making mistakes. This approach helps students grow in confidence while building solid language skills.
Teaching ESL allows me to make a meaningful impact on my students’ lives. My goal is to equip learners with the skills, confidence, and motivation they need to succeed academically and communicate effectively in English throughout their lives.
