About Nicole
I have worked as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan as part of the JET Program and years later moved to Australia as an postgraduate international student whilst on a career break from Consulting. Remembering what it was like to not be familiar with the local lingo and communication, particularly in a work setting, I was also so thankful that I didn’t have to worry about translating the language. In my mind, I was lucky and I want to use my experiences to help non-native English speakers to gain confidence in communication

I tailor my lessons to the students requirements. They are customisable and start with a discussion on how best you learn and how you would like to progress.
In the past, I have met students at locations that regularly cause pressure or uncertainty with English confidence such as cafes and pubs to practice, sessions around upcoming presentations (work and study related), and discussed cultural diversity in growing up to build confidence in casual conversation.
I provide lessons that centre around English comprehension and speaking, particularly for those who struggle with accents.
