About Katie
I’ve been dancing professionally since I was 17, and my journey has taken me across the country—from Milwaukee to Minnesota, and finally to Pennsylvania. I spent nearly a decade in Philadelphia, where I worked diligently and progressed through the ranks—from apprentice to corps de ballet, and eventually to soloist. That journey reflects my deep commitment to the art form and the discipline it takes to grow within a professional company. Each company, stage, and city shaped me, not just as a dancer, but as a person. I carry those experiences into every class I teach—combining strong technique, musicality, and a deep respect for the art form. Whether you're taking your first plié or preparing for performance, my goal is to help you grow with confidence, discipline, and joy.

With over a decade of experience dancing professionally, including several years as a soloist with Philadelphia Ballet, I bring a deep love and understanding of classical ballet to every class I teach. My journey on stage has shaped my approach in the studio—disciplined yet encouraging, grounded in technique but always inspired by artistry.
Whether you're a beginner learning the fundamentals or an advanced dancer refining your craft, I focus on building strong, healthy technique and musicality, while nurturing each student’s individual expression. I specialize in ballet technique and ballet barre, emphasizing alignment, strength, and quality of movement in a supportive, detail-oriented environment.
I believe ballet should challenge you, uplift you, and help you connect more deeply with yourself—both as a dancer and a person.
