About Amina

I’m a friendly, patient and approachable person who enjoys helping others learn, develop their confidence and reach their potential. I achieved an A in GCSE Sociology and understand how important it is to have the right support when preparing for exams and tackling challenging subjects.

I know that every student learns differently, and I believe that learning should feel encouraging rather than overwhelming. My approach is to listen, explain things clearly and help students recognise their strengths while working on areas they find difficult.

Alongside my studies in Business Management and Marketing, I work in a professional environment where communication, organisation and building positive relationships are important parts of my day-to-day role. These experiences have helped me develop strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds.

I’m excited to support GCSE Sociology students by sharing the knowledge and techniques that helped me succeed. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, confident in their abilities and proud of their progress.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be friendly, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. Having achieved an A in GCSE Sociology myself, I understand the importance of breaking down complex topics into simpler explanations and finding revision techniques that make information easier to understand and remember.

I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence. Whether you’re struggling to understand key sociological theories, remember important sociologists or structure exam answers, I’ll work with you at your own pace to help you improve.

Lessons can include:

* Understanding key topics: Breaking down challenging concepts into clear, easy-to-follow explanations.
* Revision techniques: Using summaries, flashcards, quizzes and practice questions to reinforce learning.
* Exam preparation: Practising exam-style questions and developing clear, structured answers.
* Personalised support: Focusing on the topics you find most difficult and adapting lessons to your learning style.

My goal is to help every student feel more confident in Sociology, develop effective study habits and approach their exams feeling prepared and supported.
