About Lisa
I have five years of experience teaching English to children and students in primary, ESO and B1 / B2. I provide one-to-one lessons and in groups of up to 10 students. My students have greatly improved their English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. In cases where students are preparing exams, they have successfully passed, obtaining their B1 / B2 level. Most importantly, my students have learned to appreciate English as not just a subject, but a tool for life and a gateway to global opportunities.

I am Canadian and British. I have lived and studied in Canada for 22 years and in London for 20 years. I am a native English-speaker. I have a Masters degree in Fine Arts, Goldsmiths College, University of London.
I provide private lessons one to one or groups in Guadix and Guadix surrounding areas. I design classes to meet the requirements and special needs of each student. I pay special attention to speaking and listening skills and fostering self-confidence. Special emphasis is placed on pronunciation, local expressions and conversational fluency. I strive to make learning fun, practical and accessible. I use games, creative lesson plans, interactive classes to help students learn effectively and enjoyably. I create lessons around each student's personal interests and are in the context of the real world. I prepare my own exercises and homework on paper, computer and video on Youtube that can help students with further study. In addition, I direct students to useful website, radio programmes and English language films to encourage independent study.
