About Emily
I am a future pupil barrister looking to use my legal skills and experience to support A-level and GCSE students in achieving their exam potential.
Having studied law for the past five years, I understand the pressures and difficulties that come with it, but also the skills needed to overcome them.
I have experience mentoring and tutoring many of my peers throughout my Law degree, and love helping others succeed.
I have extensive knowledge in all seven qualifying law degree subjects, and also have an extensive history in debate and public speaking if this is what you require support with.
I have a straight-forward and practical approach to teaching the law, to ensure that you become confident and knowledgeable in the areas that were causing uncertainty.

During our first meeting, we will work collaboratively to create a learning plan to target the areas of study which need the most attention. This could be certain topics that you need help with, or even just focusing on developing those essential essay writing skills!
Whatever your needs are, I will plan and prepare bespoke lessons to ensure that you become confident in areas that may have been tricky beforehand.
The typical length of a lesson will depend on how much we need to cover in a certain time frame. For example, if exams are coming up lessons may be longer than usual to ensure we cover as many bases as possible. These types of sessions may last about 1 hour, as opposed to 30-45 min sessions.
I am very familiar with the A-level program for law, however I can also work with GCSE level law.
