About Riya

I’m Riya Mahour, a dedicated psychology teacher with 5 years of experience helping students understand the subject with clarity and confidence. I believe psychology should feel relatable, not overwhelming, so I focus on simplifying concepts and building strong foundations. My teaching approach is supportive, patient, and structured, ensuring every student feels comfortable asking questions and progressing at their own pace. I have worked with a wide range of learners and understand the challenges students face in GCSE and A-Level psychology. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while guiding you towards excellent academic results.

About the lesson

My lessons make psychology simple, engaging, and exam-focused. With 5 years of teaching experience, I explain complex theories clearly and provide structured notes, mind maps, and past-paper practice to boost confidence and grades. Every lesson is personalised to your pace and learning style, with clear strategies for essay writing, research methods, and evaluation skills.
