My Tutoring Approach: I focus on making Maths and Accounting simple, structured, and confidence-building. Every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to their level, school syllabus, and goals. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and very clear — I break down each topic into small steps and use real exam-style examples to help students understand not just *what* to do but *why* it works. Techniques & Teaching Methodology * I start by identifying the student’s current level and gaps. * I explain each topic in a clear, easy-to-understand way, using examples and simple logic. * We practise questions together, then the student completes questions independently to build confidence. * I use past papers, examiner reports, and common mistake patterns to improve exam technique. * I focus strongly on ''understanding'', not memorising — especially important for GCSE Maths and Accounting. Typical Length of a Lesson Most lessons are 60 minutes, which allows time for: * A quick warm-up * Explanation of the topic * Guided practice * Independent practice * A short recap/test to check understanding Longer sessions (90 minutes) are also available for exam preparation or multiple topics.
