About Brendan
I'm a native born English speaker.
I've had an Advanced Diploma of TESOL and an international teachers license since 2011.
I specialise in giving oral English lessons to high school and uni students on the Gold Coast.
I have excellent people skills and I am positively committed and eager to make my English lessons with students fun and educational.
With me I will help you to improve your grammar, pronunciation and understanding of English.
Communication is a key point and strength of mine. For me, communication is about connecting with someone. It’s about asking questions and listening to others. I adapt my communication to the other person based on their style. I have also studied neural linguistics programming.

I use The Rassias Method.
The method aims to "make the participant feel comfortable and natural with the language in a short period of time" and involves "teaching procedures and dramatic techniques which seek to eliminate inhibitions and create an atmosphere of free expression from the very first day of class".
The emphasis of the Rassias Method is on spoken language while interweaving written work. All 50 techniques stress theatrical elements as well as immediate positive reinforcement and error correction.
