About Mareike
I am a trained 200 h RYS yoga teacher with a focus on therapeutic yoga. I have taken further training from both the physiotherapeutic and the psychological side of yoga and I am absolutely fascinated by the connection between body and mind. I always see the person as a whole and never the body alone. Recently I also started offering guided meditation offline and online (see Youtube link).

I mainly work in one-on-one lessons with people of different ages and different physical states. My lessons are about giving you an individual, healthy yoga practice in order to alleviate or prevent pain on a long-term perspective and to help you to develop more body awareness, balanced muscle strength in the entire body and an adequate mobility. For this I use props such as pillows, blankets, belts (scarf), yoga blocks (books, plastic boxes), chairs, etc.
