About Leanne
After my experience in teaching for 5 years, my interest to teach combined with my understanding of the importance of education is a stem to why I want to choose this career. While working as an assistant Economics teacher at college, I was explaining a mathematical method to a specific student who was having trouble understanding it. When I was able to successfully simplify the approach to them, it created a massive sense of achievement which ensured me that the role of teaching means more to me than just a job; it further grants me personal joy and self-satisfaction in contributing to societal development, regardless of the scale of my impact!
I want my teaching style to bring out the best of the students’ abilities and for them to view me as an influential character in this critical phase of their life. I will thrive to bring light to the subjects beyond the basic curriculum and will set high standards for my own, just like I have done during my years of learning with my own teachers and mentors!

Teaching according to the curriculum, with emphasis on topics the student personally needs an extra push in. Lessons will compromise on practicing lots of questions and examples. Working around the objectives, the target is maximum potential and optimal results.
